Anika Noni Rose, an American actress and singer. She is best known for her voice of Tiana as Tiana in The Princess and the Frog, the one and only African American Disney princess. In 2011, she was recognised as one of the Disney Legend. Rose appeared in Lorrell Robinson, from the Academy Award winning film Dreamgirls. Also, she is known for her theatre performances, specifically in her leading roles as Emmie Thibodeaux, in The Broadway production of Caroline or Change (2004) for which she won the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in a Musical. Also, she starred as Beneatha Younger in the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) for which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
